Del Mar House - Oxford House - Women Sober Living Facility Notes
Oxford House Del Mar is a sober living 3/4 house. There are no services provided by the house, just clean and sober women living together, supporting each other as roommates in recovery. Each woman must interview to become a member of the house, must hold down a job, or perform 25 hours of community service weekly, pay her rent on time, attend a weekly house meeting, do her weekly chore, and cannot drink or use drugs to live in the house. As long as these requirements are met, a woman can live here indefinitely. Participation in 12 Step Recovery Programs is not required, but encouraged. No Recovery Services are provided, except for the miracle of one addict helping another addict stay clean. The house is roomy, clean, safe, and affordable. We have 6 bedrooms in our house, and each woman has her own room. Rent includes all utilities, cleaning and laundry supplies, coffee and cream. We have a house computer with high speed internet, long distance phone service, and cable T.V. Each woman is responsible for her own food, and personal toiletries. This house is a great place and way to live for women in recovery
