I too had heard and experienced Ridgeview to be one of the better facilities. Infortunately, it was not the case with my daughter! She was sent there for substance abuse..after 3 days they were ready to send her home. I called and they said it was due to the "ever almighty insurance" that was NOT the case! They NEVER even called our insurance..I will make this short..They did send her home on the 8th day in WORSE shape then she went! She NEVER saw her case mgr..never a family therapy session..NEVER spoke with insurance..sent her out the door so "UNDER THE INFLUENCE" that her fiance' said to the nurse as they were walking out "and you call this sober..would you allow her to take care of YOUR 7 month old'?? She just shrugged..She came home on Zanax (ONE OF HER DRUGS OF CHOICE) and SO many counter productive drugs..it is a wonder she isn't dead..So, Here we are agin at square one..RIDGEVIEW should be ashamed..they should NOT be on a provider list and I have stated that fact not only with the insurance company but the "AMA".

This is a wonderful rehab center. I was detoxed in cottage C then transferred to the halfway house where we attended classes daily and went to AA meetings, or whatever meeting you needed for your addiction, in the evening. We stayed busy and we bonded so strongly with all of the other women on our floor that it was almost diffictult to leave. They give you the programs you need to help you stay clean and if you work the program as they say to, you will get better, but it does take time. A lot of people leave the halfway house to a day program so they can continue their journey to a safer way of living. If you truly want one of the top 5 rehab centers for your loved one, this one is excellent.
